Wednesday Woman of Influence – Mandy Thompson

6 Comments 17 September 2008

Mandy Thompson has been doing a series this month over at her blog called “Do Something”.  She’s encouraging and challenging each of us to find a way to “do something” of consequence, big or small, just Do Something!  Yesterday I had the privilege to contribute to the discussion and was so honored that she asked.  (Thank you Mandy!)

I got to thinking as I was preparing for today’s Wednesday Woman of Influence post that what Mandy is doing is the epitome of being a woman of influence.  She is using the resources and sphere of influence that she has to challenge, encourage and inspire others to do great things.  I love that!

I’ve never met Mandy in person (although I hope to very soon), however I can see some amazing things about the woman of God that she is, and that inspires me.  Here are 5 things I know and love about Mandy:

  • She’s a worship leader and she is passionate about that!
  • She loves her husband – A LOT – and is actively supporting him
  • She’s funny with a sarcastic bent (which I love)
  • She’s loyal
  • She loves God

So who influences you?  Go and tell them 5 things you love about them TODAY!
