How does He know?

11 Comments 12 August 2008

An envelope with this card was randomly handed to me last week at a conference.

I just want to know… “How Does He Know?”  I mean, I know he knows, but these kinds of things still baffle me.

Has God ever reminded you of something you needed to hear at just the right time?

Aren’t those the greatest things? I love it when God uses me to give a must needed message to someone else or having someone else be used by God to give me a must needed message.

I would have to say — yes! — all the time. I write them down in a small daily appointment calendar, and have been keeping them since 1990. I don’t try to fit the statement with the date; I basically ignore the dates, but I like the size of the calendar. Some days I have 10 things to record and other days nothing. I always date it and record the source of the statement — it may be a book I’m reading, a newspaper, sermon, or Bible reading. When I get discouraged, I grab one of my booklets and go for a walk. It’s so encouraging to see that God has said exactly what I needed to hear — over and over again! It’s a little different from a prayer journal because it’s specifically a record of God speaking specifically to me.

Well, obviously, God Knew your need. You have a good blog, I saw when Tony Morgan recommended it.
