I read this stat today on Granger’s Wired News:
“Did you know 75% of American heads of household play video games and the average game buyer is 37 years old?”
Here’s me playing Guitar Hero for the first time on our staff trip. Notice the focus and concentration! 
It’s a good thing we don’t have any games in our house… I can’t pass up a good challenge!
So I want to know:
What’s your favorite game?
and
Do you fall above or below the average game buyer age of 37?

My favorite is Wii Golf but played it once but loved it but still don’t have a game set of any kind and I am 51
Major League Baseball 2K8 on Wii. Like Guitar Hero though. Katie is the champ at Guitar Hero! I am below the average age…at 30.
I am below the average, but I buy for the kids… most the time.
There favorite, Mario Kart, they are addicted. Mine Madden, all of them!
I am exactly 37. We have no games. Can’t imagine! I would be hooked in seconds and would never get anything done. I know myself so well.
No – I’m only 23, but we definitely fall into the category of buying lots of video games. My favorite: Rock Band! (I’m the drummer)
I’m 37 and have tried some marathon Wii sessions with the boys. Their reflexes are so much better than mine and all that motion actually made me feel sick. They win ever single time and I am very competitive so it isn’t my cup of tea!
This makes me feel SO OLD!!
My favorite game is an old fashioned card game called SCAT….

Definitely under the 37 mark and I don’t play a lot of video games, but I love playing the Wii! Mario Kart and Guitar Hero II (not III) are my faves…but I’m waiting for WiiFit to come down a little and maybe benefit from the game playing!
I played Wii a month ago and got hooked. I like the golf and tennis. I am now in the matrket for the game. I will have one by fall. Need something to do when couped up in the house this winter. I am over 50.

I’d have to say favorite game – Goldeneye:007 On The N64
I am below the average age. I have two, in July it is College Football and once Madden comes out that is all I play for the rest of the year.
44 here…I know old…I’m an old school gamer, Frogger, Astroids and my all time favorite Tempest!! I do like Guitar Hero but my 12, 8 and 5 year old smoke me.
